Christmas Colors

( Hey peeps! This is a song I wrote for the season and it’s my first one, so it’s proabably not that great. Feedback is welcome. Faith out!)

Have you ever noticed throughout the year, the colors seem to change. They seem to flow where the seasons go and then come back again. But at Christmas time, the colors fluctuate and people will say. That every color is a Christmas color, but what are the popular ones? We all know Spring has pastel, Summer has neon and Fall has warm crimson colors. Those are seasonal colors. But again, what are Christmas hues?

Brown and green will adorn the tree with pine needles and the wood in the fire. Gold is the candlelight while silver takes the snow and stars. A pale blue will paint the sky above, but red is in the embers of the fires so bright. But red has so much more meaning then that. It’s also a promise to us from the Lord that Jesus has come to save! These are the Christmas color every year!

We all know so well of the stress Christmas brings, but let us not forget what the season means. Each color has a meaning in the season alone. The holly and mistletoe can wait a while, let’s not rush what God has for us. He gave His only Son for us, why do you think red stays the whole year round? The crimson shade is the same on the cross, green is seen as loyalty. White is seen purity and gold has true. These are few meanings of the hues.
